The Project

The Provenance Festival is a regional celebration of food and drink across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, showcasing local producers, chefs and hospitality businesses.

The Approach

The Goldie Collective supported the delivery of the festival as project managers in 2023, working closely with Opportunity North East and VisitAberdeenshire.

We coordinated more than 100 local businesses to take part in the festival programme, developing a diverse range of experiences including producer tastings, farm visits, chef collaborations and food and drink events across the region.

Impact

The festival saw a 62% increase in business participation and record visitor satisfaction, helping raise the profile of the region’s food and drink producers while strengthening collaboration across the local hospitality sector.
